I left South Africa just after 01H00 am on the Greyhound bus, for Zimbabwe, We crossed the border at 07H00am,and arrived in Masvingo at 11H00 am. After assisting my hostess in Masvingo, with treating her dog's leg, I met with Pastor Mafatsa around 15H00, he is the Missions Director of Members in Christ Church in Zimbabwe, and with Trudie Burger they will be my outreach planners/co-coordinators for the next two weeks.
Now before I left South Africa, I received a prophetic word on the 12th of June 2011, in the word God said to me that this outreach will not be like all the others, and that I must not look at the past, but must focus on Him.
My mission co-coordinators immediately jumped into action, arranging for us to go and show the Jesus film at Mashava a village 40 km outside of Masvingo, we left for Mashava around 17H00, and after a shot of Red Bull I was on my way. (Remember I woke up Friday morning at 03H00 and till that time, haven't slept at all).
We arrived at 18H00 at Caths Primary School just outside of Mashava, and started to setup the film projector, screen etc. At 19H00 we were ready to show the film, to an eager crowd. I don't know what we had for supper, as I was unable to identify anything in the darkness.
After the film 15 people made a commitment.
It was time to roll out our sleeping gear in one of the class rooms, as I was about to fall asleep, the other people attending started to sing praises unto the King of Kings, at around 03H00 am Sunday Morning they all went to bed, and I was able to finally get some sleep.
I woke up at 05H00 and after having time in the Word in the bushes of Africa, I went back to where we were sleeping, at around 07H00 everybody started to wake up, the ladies started preparing breakfast and coffee.
Service started at around 09H40 and after receiving teaching from director of training, and awesome worship time, I was privileged to bring the Word of God.
We left for Masvingo, around 14H30 and arrived back in Masvingo at 15H00, after hot shower things felt so much cleaner lol.
I will leave for Gweru early Tuesday, where I will be hosted by the Moderator of Members in Christ Church in Zimbabwe, on Thursday morning, I will leave for the Capital Harare, where I will be hosted by the Chairman of the Church, Saturday I will return to Masvingo, for a week of outreaches in the rural areas of Chivi South.
