We serve an Awesome and Amazing God
Almost four months ago I realized that my eye sight was deteriorating, every day it was getting weaker and weaker, then about three months ago one Friday morning I woke up, and had lost almost all of my eye sight, I could not see further than 1 (one) meter in front of me, everything was a blur, and I felt like I was dying. when I went to the doctor he tested my blood sugar it was 24.8, my blood preasure was very high, and I had problems with my kidneys. the diagnosis was that I am Type 2 Diabetic and I was placed on a diet accompanied with medication, from the Doctors office I went to the optometrist, the diagnosis was not good, there was nothing they could do for me, and it would take weeks if not months for them to determine the extent of the damage to my eyes and if possible for my eye sight to recover somewhat but it would never be normal again.
I went before God, and reminded Him of the promises of His Word.
I only recently started to fulfill a dream I had for 34 Years, and I can not go blind now, I mean come on I am 39 almost 40, I still want to work for the Lord, preach a whole lot of sermons, lead thousand to Christ, and travel the world, I can not go blind now.
God heard my cry, and He answered my prayers, my blood sugar have been within normal range for the past month and a half, and my eye sight is better than what it was, and to top it all Spiritually I can feel there is a difference, there is a new fire burning in side of me a new Zeal for the work of the ministry.
I learned the reality of my body being the Temple of God, and that we should take care of our bodies, eat a balanced diet, exercise and spend a lot of time in God's presence
