Who Cares?

What is wrong with us??

Have we no sense of pride in the God we serve?
Have we no pride in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior?

When I look around at my christian "brothers and sisters" one get a feeling of who cares? who cares if the world is dying? who cares if people are going to hell? who cares if the world mocks our God and Savior? who cares?

Today one cannot say anything derogatory about Islam, Muhammad, Allah etc. and you have a holy jihad, But oh boy feel free to mock Jesus, feel free to use His Name, the Name that is above every other name, in vain, lets use that awesome name as a cuss word, lets use that Name, in profanity, who cares? They can mock our Savior in cartoons, movies, books, newsletter, hey who cares?

They can burn our Bibles, who cares? hey they can come and burn down our churches, and kill and destroy us, who cares?

Do we only offer God lip service?
Do we only serve Him with our mouths, and not with our hearts?

I dare you, if you want to see if someone is truly worshiping Jesus Christ of Nazareth, attend a prayer meeting, attend an evening service, or be at church when the pastor is not there?

I dare you, if you want to see if someone is sold out to God, visit them at their homes, their work places, and see what they are doing?

I dare you if you want to see if someone is sold out to God, ask someone to pray with you?

Are you sold out to God

Outreach to Malawi 29 March to 10 April 2012

I am back from our outreach to Malawi, with Harvester International Ministries, I left Polokwane on the 29th of March at 01H00, we arrived in Mozambique at 09H00, that night we slept over at Kasa msica in Mozambique, we woke up the following morning at 03H00 and at 04H30 we were on the road again to Kasungu Malawi. We arrived at Kasungu, just after 9 that evening, we pitched our communal tent and everybody slept in the open.

Saturday 31/03/2012 we started to pitch our tents, after we had some grub, we had a couple of hours to meet everybody in the team, we were a total of 13 people, the afternoon, we went to meet our interpreters, and they had to be shown which areas we will be working in

Sunday morning we had our official first church service in Malawi, and were honored to have the governor of the province there, Jaco brought a teaching on love, after that I was given the opportunity to bring the sermon.

God laid a prophetic message for this area on my heart, and I ministered to the people.

Monday morning we all woke UP at 05H00 am, and prepared to go out two by two into the various areas, we were 5 South African teams and three Malawian teams. What an experience to walk out in the rain, to preach Jesus

We entered the first village, and preached unto them Jesus, many came to the Lord, and accepted Jesus, we then went on to train this handful of people, a class room at the village school, was made available to us, more people came and joined us, My team mate Sonnette Ferreira taught the people how to use the bandanna.

We prayed for many people for healing, 114 people accepted Jesus on the 1st day.

The second day we went to another village, where we met 5 village chiefs, this was a group village, after telling them about Jesus the whole village accepted Jesus, over 80 people came to Jesus, including the village chiefs, that afternoon, we received our first testimony, on Monday we had prayed for two small kids in ICU, in the hospital, God through prophecy, said that the kids would be healed that same hour, the next day Tuesday, the father brought the 2 kids, healed, Praise Jesus.

Over the next couple of days we saw a total of 370 people coming to Jesus, we saw a deaf-mute girl, hearing and speaking again, a cripple lady, who could not walk for years, walking and leaping and praising God, we saw, people set free from witch craft, and cults, people receiving healing from diverse, disease, including malaria.

Averages of 500 people a day were accepting Jesus through the 8 teams, our team planted two Churches, and another team planted two churches, all other teams planted a church each.

A total of 3500 plus people had accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, many, many people were healed, we baptized twenty people, and the other teams, baptized 50 plus people in total.

Sunday we had our first services in our newly planted churches, praise Jesus, we had led 11 chiefs to Jesus and all 11 were at church Sunday morning, the special group village chief, asked for prayer, he wanted me to pray for him for wisdom, to lead these villages, AMEN Hallelujah

Monday morning we left Kasungu just before 04H00 am, I arrived back home Tuesday afternoon, around 15H00 (pm)

A great thanks to all who had contributed to this outreach, Praise and honor belongs to God Almighty, thank you Jesus

A question

Early this morning while in bed, I was talking to God, pertaining to something that is really bogs my mind

God reminded me of the following scripture

Mat 9:37-38 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.

Now Jesus command was that we must pray that God send laborers into the harvest field, right.

As Missionary Pastor I have the following questions

1. Why do people pray Lord send laborers, but they never volunteer themselves
2. We are always so glad that God laid it on somebody else's heart to go into mission, so that we don't have to leave our comfort zone
3. Why must missionaries always struggle to raise the needed funds for an outreach
4. Why do people in church say, "I will not support missions to Africa, I will not give money to save black people, we have so many white people that have lack?, why not care for them?" But yet they have done nothing on their part to help, to contribute to the needs of these people. They shy away from the beggar, the malnourished, and those with ill health, they will not support their local missions, they use race as an excuse not to get involved
5. We all know Jesus last commandment was for us to go out and make disciples of all Nations, what happened to all Nations???
6. We pray Lord send laborers, but we do not contribute financially to help carry the load, of those whom God send to work in the Harvest field.

We expect the church to conquer evil, spread the gospel, reach the lost, help the needy, but we do nothing on our part.

As a church we are called to be warriors, to fight evil, but we send soldiers out, ill equipped to do the work.

All it takes to make a difference is a monthly contribution to your churches mission fund, if 100 people in church each give a R100 a month for missions, we will have R10 000 a month to reach the unsaved.

What can R100 buy you?
a large Pizza? 4 packs of smokes? 9 litres of petrol, 8 litres of Diesel, one Lazy aged steak at Spur? oops that costs more than a R100 rand, scrape the steak.

I want you to look at your finances, we can spend a R100 on many things, that brings no return, God promises us a 30 fold, 60 fold and 100 fold return on the seed we sow into his Kingdom. now what is R100 multiplied by 30, 60 or a 100??

Come on saints, get real about your faith, show me the works that accompany your faith

What Happened? Where did we go wrong?

Mar 16:16-20 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

What happened to us as so called "believers", why is it that we do not find the following in the church anymore

Do we still see demons cast out?
Do we see the sick healed?
Do we see the dead raised?
The Lame walk?
The deaf hear?
The blind see?

According to Mark chapter 16, these attesting signs will accompany those who believe, attesting according to the online dictionary is defined as

at·test (-tst)
at·test·ed, at·test·ing, at·tests
1. To affirm to be correct, true, or genuine: The date of the painting was attested by the appraiser.
2. a. To certify by signature or oath: attest a will.
b. To certify in an official capacity.
3. To supply or be evidence of: Her fine work attests her ability. See Synonyms at indicate.
4. To put under oath.To bear witness; give testimony: attested to their good faith.

If we read Mark 16 correctly it says these confirming signs, will accompany those that believe, the signs will confirm that you not only believe, but have believed, and as a result of your faith these signs are accompanying your ministry.

In verse 20 of Mark 16 we read "the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following"

If I am a believer and a disciple of Jesus Christ, and I preach the good news of the Kingdom of God then according to Mark 16 God will confirm that I belong to His Kingdom, and that what I have preached is from Him, with signs and wonders.

Yes my dear ones throw your stones, ask me, does this then mean that we do not believe?. If you believe you will be busy spreading the gospel to all nations, you will be about winning souls, and adding souls unto the Kingdom of God. Sadly however this is no longer the case, the church no longer believes, the church no longer has the burning flame in her midst.

when you talk to people about miracles and wonders, about the Holy Spirit and the gifts, they have a lame excuse, all these have fallen away, quoting Paul in 1Corinthians 13, where he speaks about love, Paul was speaking as to when Christ would return then all these things would seize to be, and the imperfect will be replaced by the perfect, but until then, we ought to be busy about the things of the Kingdom.

Ever wonder why there are so few miracles and signs today, go and look what is proclaimed from the pulpit, go and hear what is being said. Church has become a platform for encouraging people, pastors have become motivational speakers, and proclaimers of doctrine, and not the Good News.

Doctrine and motivating people is taking president, next up is prosperity, and wealth, all the time deceiving people that all is well, while their is no evidence that God is there.

When last did a demon manifest in your church?
When last did people ran to the front, confessing sins?
When last was the actual gospel preached in your church?

I am just wondering, why we do not see the Acts of the Apostles duplicated in our churches today

Ever asked your pastor/reverend/bishop/apostle/priest why Mark 16 is not happening in your church? I dare you this day, ask them and see their response, Ye of little faith, will the son of man find any faith when He cometh again?

Recalculating

I've been doing some recalculating, looking at where I was, where I am right now, and where I went wrong.

While sitting in a restaurant last night, my wife and I started talking about the supernatural, those things we deem not normal, or natural, and she said to me, that it is not right, that it borders on what is bad.

I started to explain to her about the people of the bible and how they had supernatural natural life's.

ADAM had a face to face encounter with God on a daily basis, Abraham had a supernatural natural life, he was called the friend of God, he had more than one encounter with angels, so did Enoch, Moses had face to face meetings with God, he did many signs and wonders, how about Joshua, Daniel, Ezekiel, Joel, the apostles, all of them had a supernatural natural life.

My wife then replied, yes but what about today? As she said that, I was reminded by the Holy Spirit, of the numerous supernatural events that happened in my own life, and for the most part of 7 years, the supernatural was natural to me, (but of such things I do not wish to write about myself)

When we got home, I realized what it was that I was missing, I am missing that supernatural natural life, all those events I was earlier reminded of, the visits to paradise, the physical walls of protection, the spectacular hosts of heaven, the encounters with the Almighty.

Then I realized that I had become so involved with trying to figure out the truth, and gaining knowledge, that I allowed myself to slip out of the supernatural natural, to a mere natural, thirst for knowledge, I had lost my hunger and thirst for the supernatural natural way of living. for ten years my only thirst was for knowledge and recognition, before I went to the mission field, my life was supernatural natural, now it is just plain natural.

This morning I am sitting in my office remembering the height from which I had fallen, I am standing humble before an Almighty God, acknowledging that I have fallen from that place I once had. I had traded that which was awesome and spectacular for religion, for doctrine, and knowledge, I was stupid, thinking that if I had all the answers I would be better of, I fell for the same lie that Eve had fallen for, I fell for knowledge, I traded the supernatural for knowledge.

My prayer today is that God will have mercy on me, and forgive me, that He will help me, to find my way back to Him, back to the supernatural natural. I long for that place once again
