We Limit God by our lack of expectations

We Limit God by our lack of expectations

This morning as I had a visitor, Past John from Zimbabwe, we started to talk about God, and what God is doing, actually Past John was talking and I was just sitting there listening, as he spoke about his ministry, and what he wants to do, and what obstacles lies ahead of him.

While he was talking, the Holy Spirit was ministering to my spirit, telling me about my own short comings and limitations, God spoke to me and said to me that we have put Him in a box, because of our limitations. As believers we are limiting God every day, just sit in a conversation and listen to the people

We have all put God in a box. for many there problems is bigger than God, for others God can only do this and do that, no don't pray like that, you can't ask that etc.

Our lack of expectation and our lack of response to our expectations limit God, When last did we have a great expectation? When last did we came to church expecting to receive a fresh infilling, a time of refreshing, when last did we expected something exceedingly abundantly far more than what we can think or imagine.

Agg you know man it will be like last sunday, ag we do it always like this, ag you know.....

Hear the Word of the Lord this morning, "My children it is time to broaden your horizen, it is time for you to step out of your self made molds, break down the walls around you and see Me and see My power. Stop limiting Me, stop placing boarders around your expectations, come to Me with an Expectant Heart and surely I will meet you, I am the Lord your God, beside Me their is no one, I spoke and the world came into existence, there is nothing that is too small or to big for Me, open up, broaden your hearts and minds, be like My servant Jabez and start to say Lord extent my boarders, widen my tent pens, extent my territory. Come come unto Me with an expectant heart, I am the Lord Your God I am faithful to My Word and to the promise of My Word, know this declares the Lord God Almighty My Word will never return unto Me void, I will do what I have said I will do."

  1. Greetings in Jesus wonderful name.

So true in many ways. The lifestyle of most followers of Jesus lean to the world, flesh and most of all self. It is there they proclaim God, yet can't see any promises for the eyes of the flesh focus on selfish gain.

Time to cry to see His truth unfold the flesh, so that we live as imitators of Christ in the here and now!!!!
